TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY IN THE AIRING OF THE QUILTS

Who can enter

1. Quilters from any area are welcome to enter any quilts in the outdoor Airing of the Quilts
2. No entry fee applies
3. Entries may be for sale. The Committee will retain a commission of 20% of sale price for any works sold

Prize

All quilts displayed in the Braidwood ‘Airing of the Quilts’, will be eligible to win the Viewers’ Choice prize of $100.00

Braidwood Quilters Inc.

  1. Reserves the right not to accept an entry that does not meet all the conditions
  2. Reserves the right to hang as many entries as space permits; selection for exhibition will be made by the Committee and its decision will be final
  3. May photograph or permit to be photographed all entries for publication or other appropriate purposes for print or to display on its website

Entry Conditions to be met

  1. Entries close at 5.00pm on Tuesday 14 November. Late entries will not be accepted
  2. Entries must be made by downloading the Entry Form/Label from the website and completing the official entry form online
  3. The intention to enter must be registered online for each entry by 5.00pm Tuesday 14 November 2017. Registration includes uploading an image of the entry
  4. All entries, posted or hand delivered, must reach the Braidwood Quilters by close of business Tuesday 14 November 2017

    2. Entries may be hand delivered between 10am & 4pm Fridays 3rd & 10th November to

  5. The entrant is responsible for all packaging and shipping of entries and insurance of work.
  6. All quilts must have a cloth rod pocket attached to the back at the top, either sewn or safety pinned, sized to take a 2.5cm dowel.

Collection of entries

  1. Entries may be collected in person at the conclusion of the Airing of the Quilts after 5.30 pm on 26 November 2017
  2. NO EXCEPTIONS FOR EARLIER COLLECTION WILL BE MADE
  3. If entries cannot be collected at the listed times, specific arrangements can be made with the Committee to return quilts to the entrant. Return postage can be arranged for a $10 postage fee.
