The Airing of the Quilts

Full information leaflet, Terms and Conditions of Entry & Entry Forms has been available since June and the full Terms and Conditions are available online, check it out here.

Thereafter, you will be able to simply register your work online to help us with managing the event and download the mailing form and labels necessary for sending in your actual entry work later.

Prizes?  Viewer's choice will attract a first prize of $300 and a second prize of $200, sponsored by the Braidwood Heritage Society.

Come and sell your quilts, crafts or handmade gifts at the special Boutique Quilt Market on 26 November and, of course, come and browse and buy buy a quilt at the Market.

Registration on-line to reserve your space at Braidwood Central Schools Great Hall will open soon.

What do we do?

  • We organise the annual Braidwood Quilt Event and the famous Airing of the Quilts
  • We hold the Braidwood Quilters mid-year Country Luncheon (see above)
  • We plan monthly community quilt workshops and get together every Wednesday for sewing, fun and goss
  • Our members support the worthy projects
  • We travel quilts to support other quilting organisations
  • We initiate and participate in “fusion events” which cross over into other areas of the arts
